My Professional
Journey

I haven’t always been a therapist. In fact, I spent most of my adult life chopping and changing jobs, trying to figure out what truly fit — until I found my way into therapy and realised this is where I’m meant to be.

My approach is integrative, which means I draw from a mix of counselling styles and methods to find what works best for you. I’m definitely not clinical or overly formal in the room — and yes, there’s every chance I might swear in session (a varied vocabulary has its place!).

Alongside my private practice, I’m also the Therapy Manager at SARAC (Sexual Abuse and Rape Advice Centre), where I support both clients and a team of dedicated therapists.

I’m currently studying towards a Level 6 qualification in Clinical Supervision, which is deepening my practice and allowing me to support fellow professionals in the field too.

I have extensive experience working with trauma, neurodivergence, and within LGBTQ+ / GSRD communities. That said, I’ve supported people through a wide range of challenges, and I welcome the variety that each individual brings.

I offer free exploratory calls, so you can ask whatever you need to decide whether we’d be a good fit to work together.

Completing Summer 2026, this qualification will allow me to better support other professionals within roles across counselling and psychotherapy, education and safeguarding, & health and social care.

Undertaking extensive training and research within the world of counselling and psychotherapy, my research included exploration of the impact of personal trauma on those working in counselling roles.

Undertaking 300+ client hours as part of my training, this course focused on integrating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Attachment and Person-Centred approaches to support a range of psychological needs.
